The transfer of APLA archival records to the Nova Scotia Archives required coordination, documentation, and governance oversight.

Contribution 

As Project Lead, I coordinated the organization, documentation, and transfer of archival materials in collaboration with executive members and archival partners.

Outcome

The successful transfer ensured long-term preservation and public accessibility of APLA’s historical records.

Reflection

This project underscored the importance of professional stewardship beyond institutional boundaries. Governance experience has strengthened my understanding of accountability, transparency, and long-term preservation responsibilities.
